In October 2015 a new brochure of BirdLife Austria is presented. This brochure also provides information about measures for the protection of the Great Bustard in Austria.

Project visit by DI Lukas Weber-Hajszan, of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management and his team visit the project area “Parndorfer Platte - Heideboden“. During an excursion with R. Raab the Great Bustard and its habitat was introduced in detail (Action E.1: General project implementation)

In September 2015 an article about the effects of winter oilseed rape fields on the West-Pannonian Great Bustard Otis tarda population was published in the scientific journal Bird Conservation International, volume 25, issue 03.
